Enjoyed the twin room with lovely beds a linen, felt like we were home. It was very handy to have coffee/tea makers, a fridge and glassware. The hotel was in an UNBEATABLE location short walk to all attractions and shops, and 10 minutes walk.

No frills basic accomodation...good breakfast, helpful staff. Ten minutes walk (not 5) toYork minster, all main attractions are a short walk from the minster. Nice park opposite guest house.
My single room was overpriced in my opinion, and was not the same as the image shown on Booked.net..very misleading, beware of this when you book.

Very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and good service throughout from the staff. Our room was very light, twin beds decorated in a basic but modern and very clean style. Room had everything we needed, tea and coffee making facilities with nice biscuits! Hairdryer provided, lamps, beds were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised as it was much nicer than some of the other b&b's we'd looked at. The location was around 5/10 mins walk to the centre of York but if you didn't want to venture far at night there were plenty of nice eating places nearby. Breakfast was good - cooked fresh as you ordered and they were very accomodating if you wanted anything extra. We both said we'd stay here again :)

Close to the city, within walking distance of the Minster and other attractions.
Top of the house, small, no air circulation, bathroom small but then we did not spend anytime in the room as we were in York to see the sights. We got what we paid for.
